"FOREVER" THE NOTORIOUS B.I.G.
THE STREET ALBUM

It Was All A Dream… Since his passing in March of 1997, there have been many tributes to the late, great Christopher 'Notorious B.I.G.' Wallace. After being left unsatisfied by mediocre mixtapes and official albums, DJ Semi (the man who brought you 'Biggie Smalls LIVE' and 'Ready to Die OG Edition') and DJ KG (The Big Dawg Pitbull) had 'a dream' of bringing the world an album that Frank White would be proud of himself. "Forever" is a far from a mixtape. It's an album in tribute to the true legend of hip-hop.
DJ Semi began production for "Forever" in 2005. The Mixtape Marvel hunted down exclusive vocals for what he calls his "Sistine Chapel". The tracks on "Forever" feature production that Semi felt The Notorious One would actually choose as a backdrop for his venemous flow. Homage is paid to a great man who chased his dream, only to have it tragically stolen from him after only blessing us with 2 studio albums.
"Forever" is 1994 Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. It's Coogi sweaters and Versaci shades. It's Big's stress and struggle. His beefs, his sense of humor, his hustle, his stories. Experience Christopher Wallace the way he would want to be heard.
Guest appearances include the late Stack Bundles on "The Upper Room" – a chilling collaboration that highlights the life and afterlife from a deceased artist's perspective. Sean 'Diddy' Combs reunites with Biggie on "Hate Me Now". Styles P thugs it out on "You Can Get It" and "Slam" features longtime friend and callaborator Jay-Z for a remake of the hip-hop classic. "Back In The Day" is a tribute to summertime cookouts, hustling, and straight-up real hip-hop, much like the beats featured on "The Party Don't Stop". "Forever" covers all sides of an extremely diverse and talented man.
"Make you a classic, like my first LP" (The Notorious B.I.G. on 1997's "Last Day")
This is what The Mixtape Marvel DJ Semi and The Big Dawg Pitbull DJ KG set out to do.
