Thursday nite we went out to one of Bucks friends Santa Monica right on the Ocean. His friend Chuck was so nice and cooked us steaks on the grill and even gave me free drink coupons for the flight home !! God bless Chuck !!!!!!!
Friday after interviewing everyone from Janet Jackson to the deal or no deal girls we wrapped up the interviews Friday afternoon.. I went back and ordered room service and passed out I was so tired. Saturday morning we went hiking up at Runyan Canyon off Mullholland Drive. It was the most beautiful part of LA I have ever seen. There were trails for miles and miles,and panaoramic views of LA. I saw Jillian the trainer of the Biggest Loser running with a client.. man she is cut !!!
After the hike we went for breakfast at a cool spot where I had tamales and eggs.. where can you find that dish in Hartford?? man it was good !!!! I went back to the hotel for a massage and passed out !
Sunday the day of the Grammy's we all met downstairs at the Omni Hotel for breakfast where Buck, Marv and I ate all the bacon.. the Omni has the BEST damn bacon ever !!!!!!! Just ask Buck !!!!!!! he's a bacon-aholic. After I went to the gym and the pool. The Grammys started at 5 here in LA. so we had to get there by 4. We saw Lyfe Jennings, Keyshia Cole and Tank on the red carpet. The grammys were great I loved Tina nd Beyonce and The time and Rihanna. The opera cats were great too. After the Grammy's we hit the Warner Brothers after party,it was great I saw JOsh Grobin one of the performers at the Grammys he did a duet with Botticelli. He is a short cat !!! I was surprised. I saw Tyneshia Kelly, who did the morning show with us a month ago, her dress was hot !! After we ate all the appetizers we headed back to the hotel to pack and go do our last broadcast in LA. we headed to the airport early Buck says he will never be late for a flight if he's traveling with me. I am slightly anal about flying anyway so I like to get to the airport early so I don't panic! Poor Buck !!!! I can't wait to use those free drink coupons on the flight. |
